In the Security section, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account. It adds an extra layer of security: in addition to your password, you'll need a code from an authenticator app when signing in.
Setup
- Click the toggle switch to enable 2FA. As long as 2FA is not enabled, this is clearly indicated with "MFA is not yet enabled."
- Install an authenticator app of your choice, for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or a comparable app.
- Scan the displayed QR code, or enter the secret key manually in your app.
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app into the "Enter 2FA code" field and click "Complete setup."
Once entered successfully, you'll see the confirmation "2FA is enabled." An invalid or incorrectly sized code is rejected — the code must consist of exactly 6 digits.
Disabling
You can turn 2FA off again at any time using the "Disable" button. As a safety measure, you'll be asked to confirm that you really want to disable it.
Google Sign-In
You can link your account with Google to sign in using your Google credentials instead of your SaleVali password.
- Click the button on the "Google Sign-In" card to start the connection. A Google login popup opens where you choose the Google account you want to link.
- Once connected, the card shows the linked Google email address, and you can sign in to SaleVali with that account going forward.
- To remove the connection, click the button again. You'll be asked to confirm before Google Sign-In is deactivated.
Change Password
- Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
- Enter your new password, which must be at least 8 characters long.
- Click "Save changes." You can then sign in with your new password.
Change Email
- Enter the new email address you want to link to your account.
- A confirmation email is sent to this new address.
- Once you confirm it, your email address is updated and you'll need to sign in again using the new address.
Active Sessions
This section lists the devices and browsers currently signed in to your account, including browser, operating system, IP address, location, sign-in time, and last activity.
- Your current session is marked accordingly and can't be terminated from this list.
- Click the logout icon next to any other session to end it individually, or use "Terminate All" to sign out of every device at once. You'll be asked to confirm before sessions are terminated.
